The NZ Compare Awards are all about recognising providers delivering real value, strong performance, and great customer outcomes, and in 2025 Sky Broadband delivered on all fronts.
Representatives of NZ Compare, Gavin Male, CEO and Prutha Patel, Senior Consultant, recently visited Sky’s headquarters in Auckland (Mt Wellington) to personally present their awards for Best Fibre Broadband Provider and Best Bundled Plan. These were two of the most competitive and closely watched categories and so a massive achievement.
Taking out both of these NZ Compare Awards is no small feat. It reflects Sky Broadband’s ability to combine reliable fibre performance with compelling bundled offers that genuinely resonate with Kiwi households.
In a market where price, speed, and value are constantly under pressure, standing out in both standalone broadband and bundled services shows a well-rounded, customer-focused approach. The bundles award winners have historically been dominated by energy and broadband bundles. This year marks a shift with Sky winning for their broadband and TV bundle which the judges found drove great value and impressive customer feedback.

And, of course, there was time for a bit of fun too — including a full office tour and even a sit-down on the iconic League Lounge set made famous by Shaun Johnson and a quick photo in the main presenting studio. A pretty unique way to wrap up an awards visit!
